Gilah begins her first season as the Academic Services Coordinator for Academic Support Services for Student-Athletes. In this role, Gilah oversees the department’s tutorial program, class checking, and study hall program. Gilah is responsible for the hiring, training, and supervision of all the tutors, class checking, and study hall staff as well as the scheduling for the entire department. Prior to her return to Rutgers, Gilah spent one year as an Athletic Academic Advisor at the University of Delaware where she worked with the Men’s Lacrosse, Field Hockey, and Swimming teams.

Gilah graduated from Rutgers University in 2009 with her B.A. in Communication. In 2011, she earned her Master’s of Education in College Student Affairs from the Rutgers Graduate School of Education. While pursuing her Master’s, Gilah served as the Graduate Intern in Academic Support for 2 years. In that role, Gilah trained under the Academic Support Staff and also served as a tutor and supplemental instructor for the department.

Gilah was born and raised a Scarlet Knight and could not be happier to be back “on the banks.”
