Rutgers baseball will honor the legendary career of coach Fred Hill in a ceremony scheduled prior to the May 10 game versus USF at Bainton Field. The program will retire his No. 24 as part of the festivities.

Rutgers baseball snapped its five-game winning streak with a 10-7 defeat to Wagner Wednesday at Richmond County Bank Ballpark. It was the first road game for the Scarlet Knights in 21 days.

April-21-14 Baseball Set for Two Midweek Games
Winners of the last four games and seven of the last nine, Rutgers baseball will return to action Tuesday at Bainton Field versus Rider (2 p.m.) before traveling to Wagner Wednesday (3:30 p.m.). The game against the Broncs will wrap up a 13-game homestand for the Scarlet Knights.

In helping lead Rutgers baseball to a 4-0 week, freshmen Gaby Rosa (Perth Amboy, N.J.) and Mike Carter (Bloomfield, N.J.) both earned a spot on the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll.

April-19-14 Baseball Finishes Sweep of Cincinnati, 4-1
Behind a career-high 11 strikeouts from redshirt freshman Kyle Driscoll (Toms River, N.J.) and timely hitting, Rutgers baseball completed a weekend sweep of Cincinnati with a 4-1 victory Saturday at Bainton Field.

April-18-14 Rosa Hurls Gem in 3-1 Victory
Freshman Gaby Rosa (Perth Amboy, N.J.) did not allow an earned run over 8.1 innings to propel Rutgers baseball to a 3-1 victory Friday at Bainton Field. The win clinches the series for the Scarlet Knights, as the game took just 1:59.

April-17-14 Clemente and Brey Lift Baseball
Senior Lou Clemente (Union, N.J.) blasted a three-run home run and sophomore Howie Brey (Middletown, N.J.) pitched a career-long 7.1 innings to lift Rutgers baseball to a 5-4 win in the series opener versus Cincinnati Thursday at Bainton Field.

April-17-14 Baseball Resumes Conference Play
After playing six consecutive non-conference games, Rutgers baseball will return to American Athletic Conference action with a three-game series against Cincinnati at Bainton Field. The set will run Thursday to Saturday due to Easter.

April-16-14 Carter Leads Baseball to 7-1 Win
Behind four hits from freshman Mike Carter (Bloomfield, N.J.) and two effective outings on the mound, Rutgers baseball defeated Lafayette, 7-1, Wednesday in action at Bainton Field. It was the sixth consecutive non-conference game for the Scarlet Knights.
