February-03-05 Freeman, Agnello Join Rutgers Baseball Coaching Staff
PISCATAWAY, NJ – Rutgers University head baseball coach Fred Hill has added two veteran coaches to his staff for the 2005 season in assistant coaches Rick Freeman and Jim Agnello. Freeman will work with the RU pitchers, while Agnello will tutor the team’s catchers and coach first base.

PISCATAWAY, NJ – Baseball America, the nation’s leading college baseball magazine, has named Rutgers infielder Todd Frazier as the 2005 Preseason BIG EAST Freshman of the Year. Frazier, the younger brother of Rutgers All-American Jeff Frazier, was cited in the College Preview issue, which hit newsstands this week.

December-01-04 Rutgers Baseball Signs Four
PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Rutgers baseball program has signed four high school seniors to National Letters of Intent during the 2004 early signing period, head coach Fred Hill announced today. The class is comprised of right-handed pitcher Kyle Bradley (Red Bank, NJ), right-handed pitcher Matt Giannini (Watchung, NJ), left-handed pitcher Dennis Hill (Hillsdale, NJ) and outfielder Luis Feliz (New Brunswick, NJ). All four will attend Rutgers next fall and join the program for the 2006 season.

BALTIMORE, MD – The Baltimore Orioles have promoted former Rutgers standout Val Majewski (Freehold, NJ) from its Class AA affiliate, the Bowie Baysox, and will have the 23-year-old outfielder in uniform on Friday night, when they host the Toronto Blue Jays at Camden Yards.

August-18-04 Rutgers Baseball Adds Two Transfers for 2005 Season
PISCATAWAY, NJ – The addition of two key transfers, pitcher Sean Spicer (Toms River, NJ) from St. Peter’s College and catcher Jon Gossard (Harrington Park, NJ), of UMBC was announced today by head coach Fred Hill. Both are eligible to compete this coming spring.

WEST WARWICK, RI – Rutgers pitcher Matt Pustay (Hamilton, NJ), a rising junior, has been named to the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) Southern Division All-Star Team and will play in its annual game on Sunday in Montpelier, VT.

PISCATAWAY, NJ – Three of the four Rutgers University baseball players currently playing in the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League (ACBL) have earned a spot in the 35th Annual All-Star Game, which will take place on Monday, July 19, at St. John's University.
