Rutgers Defeats One World All-Stars 80-76 |
| PISCATAWAY, NJ – Senior guard Jerome Coleman (Brooklyn,
NY) scored a game-high 28 points, and junior forward Herve Lamizana (Abidgen,
Ivory Coast, Africa) added 16 points and blocked 10 shots, as the Rutgers basketball
team defeated the One-World All-Stars 80-76 in a pre-season exhibition game at
the Louis Brown Athletic Center. |

Coleman Named Preseason Second-Team All-BIG EAST |
| PISCATAWAY, NJ -- Rutgers senior guard Jerome Coleman
was named to the BIG EAST Pre-season All-BIG EAST Second Team. Coleman led the
Scarlet Knights in scoring last season with a 16.8 ppg. average and scored 20
or more points in a game 10 times. He also set school records in three-point
field goals made (99) and attempted (286) in a season. |

Men's Basketball Announces Game Times/TV Schedule |
| PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Rutgers men’s basketball
team has added a game to its 2002-2003 season as the Scarlet Knights will host
Prairie View A&M on Monday, Dec. 30 at 7:30 p.m. A minimum of 19 Rutgers
games will be televised this season, including all 16 BIG EAST contests. |

| PISCATAWAY, NJ – Gary Waters, who guided the 2001-02
Rutgers University men's basketball team to an 18-13 record and a berth in the
NIT in his first season as head coach, will be inducted into Ferris State University
Athletic Hall of Fame this evening. The event will take place at the Holiday
Inn and Conference Center in Big Rapids, MI. |

Rutgers Announces 2002-03 Schedule |
| PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Rutgers men’s basketball
team will open its 2002-03 season at home on Nov. 18, hosting Columbia in the
first round of the Pre-Season NIT. The Scarlet Knights, under the direction of
second-year coach Gary Waters, will play a minimum of 26 regular season games
this season, including 16 challenging BIG EAST Conference contests. |
