PISCATAWAY, N.J. (October 23, 2009) - Online presale for Rutgers men’s and women’s basketball season ticket “mini-packs” begins today at 5:00 p.m. through the Rutgers Athletics ticketing web site at http://tickets.scarletknights.com. A multitude of exciting options are available via the “mini-packs,” which will be available for purchase at the Rutgers Athletic Ticket Office or by calling 866-445-GoRU (4678) beginning Monday (Oct. 26) at 8:30 a.m.
A “BIG EAST Pack” will be available for both the men’s and women’s hardwood campaigns in 2009-10. The men’s home conference slate includes meetings with DePaul, Cincinnati, Georgetown, Notre Dame, St. John’s, Seton Hall and Syracuse, as well as match-ups with 2009 Final Four participants Connecticut and Villanova. The women’s league docket is comprised of Cincinnati, DePaul, Marquette, Notre Dame, St. John’s, Seton Hall and Syracuse, as well as a meeting with 2009 NCAA runner-up Louisville. The men’s BIG EAST package has $250.00 (mezzanine) and $150.00 (promenade) options. The women’s BIG EAST package is available for $115.00 (general admission).
A “Knight Pack” and “Scarlet Pack” will be available for the men’s season. The five-game “Knight Pack” provides a discount of $5.00 per ticket and includes Syracuse, two BIG EAST games of choice, as well as two non-conference contest of choice. The three-game “Scarlet Pack” provides a discount of $3.00 per ticket and includes Syracuse, as well as one BIG EAST and one non-conference game of choice.
A “Pick 3 Pack” will be available for the women’s season. The package provides a discount of $3.00 per ticket on any three games of choice.

Also currently available for purchase is the 2009-10 men’s basketball “Weekend Plan,” which provides the opportunity to cheer on the Scarlet Knights versus Marist, Vermont, Colgate, NJIT, Cincinnati, Notre Dame, Georgetown, Connecticut, and DePaul. All games will be played on Saturday or Sunday.
