January 5, 2009 No. 17/14 Rutgers Hits the Road, Takes On Syracuse on Tuesday
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers opens up BIG EAST play on Tuesday, Jan. 6 taking on Syracuse at the Carrier Dome. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. on CBS College Sports Television. The Scarlet Knights (8-3) saw their six-game winning streak come to a halt on Saturday when Tennessee rallied to post a 55-51 win at the Louis Brown Athletic Center.

January 5, 2009 Junior Epiphanny Prince Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers guard Epiphanny Prince was named to the BIG EAST women’s basketball weekly honor roll, the league office announced Monday afternoon. It is the second time this season the junior has earned the honor. The Brooklyn, N.Y. product averaged 21 points, four rebounds and three steals in a 1-1 week for the Scarlet Knights.

January 3, 2009 No. 8/12 Tennessee Sneaks Past No. 15/14 Rutgers 55-51
PISCATAWAY, N.J – No. 8/12 Tennessee used a 15-2 run over the final 6:07 of the game for a come-from-behind 55-51 victory over No. 15/14 Rutgers Saturday afternoon at the Louis Brown Athletic Center. A sellout crowd of 8,079 and a national television audience on CBS witnessed as the Scarlet Knights could not sustain a 33-13 halftime lead, falling for the fifth straight time to the Lady Vols.

December 29, 2008 Rutgers Earns 57-47 Victory Over George Washington
PISCATAWAY, N.J – Rutgers used a balanced attack to vault past George Washington, 57-47 on Monday evening at the Louis Brown Athletic Center. The win was the 20th straight on their home court and capped off a perfect month of December (6-0) for the Scarlet Knights. Junior Epiphanny Prince (Brooklyn, N.Y.) had 17 points, 11 of those coming in the second half, to lead all scorers.

December 19, 2008 No. 14/14 Rutgers Cruises Past Lafayette, 61-29
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers won its fifth straight game in convincing fashion, claiming a 61-29 victory over Lafayette on Friday evening at the Louis Brown Athletic Center. Junior Epiphanny Prince led the Scarlet Knights (7-2) with 23 points, her eighth double-figure performance of the year.

December 16, 2008 Rutgers Women’s Basketball Contest With Tennessee Sold Out
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Rutgers Athletics Ticket Office has announced that the Women’s Basketball game on January 3rd against Tennessee is now completely sold out. Season ticket holders who do not plan to attend the game are asked to please use the Ticket Transfer feature so that your seats are filled by a friend or co-worker.

NEW YORK - Junior Epiphanny Prince (Brooklyn, N.Y.) registered 25 points to lead Rutgers women’s basketball to a 59-38 win over Army on Sunday afternoon in the first game of the Maggie Dixon Classic at Madison Square Garden.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Junior Epiphanny Prince (Brooklyn, N.Y.) drained a 17-foot baseline jumper with 35.3 seconds remaining to lift Rutgers to a 58-56 win over Prairie View A&M in collegiate women’s basketball action on Thursday evening at the Louis Brown Athletic Center. Prince finished with 13 points along with junior classmate Brittany Ray (Bronx, N.Y.), who scored in double figures for the fourth straight game

December 10, 2008 Rutgers Women’s Basketball Contest With Tennessee Nears Sellout Capacity
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Rutgers Athletics Ticket Office has announced less than 1,000 tickets remain for the Rutgers women’s basketball game against Tennessee on Saturday, Jan. 3. With the expectation of the sellout looming, student ticket pickup was moved ahead to December 1. In order to accommodate as many requests for tickets as possible, any unclaimed student tickets will be made available for public sale.

December 8, 2008 No. 14/12 Rutgers Pushes Past Georgia, 45-34
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Junior guard Epiphanny Prince (Brooklyn, N.Y.) scored 14 points and classmate Brittany Ray (Bronx, N.Y.) had 13 to drive Rutgers to a 45-34 win over Georgia in the Jimmy V Classic on Monday evening at the Louis Brown Athletic Center. Prince tallied her 1,000 career point in the contest, the sixth-fastest player in program history to do so.
