PENNSAUKEN, N.J. – Rutgers women’s crew competed at the 2009 EAWRC Sprints on Sunday, May 17, at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken, N.J. The Scarlet Knights’ first varsity eight battled Georgetown wire to wire in the third level final, narrowly edging the Hoyas by 1.3 seconds at the line.

June 1, 2009	Becz, Gromlowicz CRCA National Scholar-Athletes
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers crew team members Helen Becz (Rutherford, N.J.) and Mary Gromlowicz (Hampton, N.J.) were recognized by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) for their excellence in rowing and in the classroom. Becz and Gromlowicz both rowed in the first varsity eight for the Spring 2009 campaign.
