| The Rutgers women's crew team began its fall season this past weekend at the Navy Day Regatta hosted on the Schuylkill River. The Scarlet Knights varsity squad finished strong against tough competition on Saturday, Oct. 10. |

Rutgers Completes 2009 Season at Eastern Sprints |
| PENNSAUKEN, N.J. – Rutgers women’s crew competed at the 2009 EAWRC Sprints on Sunday, May 17, at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken, N.J. The Scarlet Knights’ first varsity eight battled Georgetown wire to wire in the third level final, narrowly edging the Hoyas by 1.3 seconds at the line. |

| PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers crew team members Helen Becz (Rutherford, N.J.) and Mary Gromlowicz (Hampton, N.J.) were recognized by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) for their excellence in rowing and in the classroom. Becz and Gromlowicz both rowed in the first varsity eight for the Spring 2009 campaign. |

Rutgers advanced to the grand finals in three races as the varsity eight, second varsity eight and novice eight put forth strong performances in their respective heats. |
