PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Helen Becz ’11 and Shannon Collins ’12 have received invitations from USRowing to attend National Team camps this summer.  Becz has been invited to the USRowing Women’s National Team Pre-Elite Sculling camp in Bloomington, IN.  The pre-elite camp is “focused on developing athletes who have the potential to contribute to future national teams, under 23 and senior.”  Collins will attend the USRowing Women’s National Team Freshman Camp, to be held June 14-20 in Ithaca, NY.  The freshman camp “is for athletes with elite-level potential and aspirations, but who are freshmen in college and/or have only one or two years of rowing experience.”

“I’m excited for Helen and Shannon to have this opportunity,” said head coach Max Borghard.  “Training and racing over the summer is a tremendous learning experience.”
