BRONX, NY - Julie Culley (Lebanon, NJ) recorded the fastest time in the history of the Metropolitan Championships today at Van Cortlandt Park in New York City. The Scarlet Knights placed third overall in the 16-team field. Columbia won the meet with Stony Brook taking second.

September 7, 2002 Women’s Cross Country Takes Fifth at 20-Team Penn State Invitational
STATE COLLEGE, PA – The Rutgers University women’s cross-country opened its 2002 season with a fifth-place finish at the Penn State Invitational in State College. Senior Julie Culley (Lebanon, NJ) led RU with a second-place finish, clocking 21:28, which was just :18 off the pace of first-place finisher Tracy Brauksieck, who finished the course in 21:10.
