| PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Rutgers women’s track and field team was recently recognized for its outstanding academic achievements by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The Scarlet Knights were one of 131 Division I programs named to the list of All-Academic Track and Field Team. |

| BRONX, N.Y. – The Rutgers men’s cross country team placed third out of 26 teams at the IC4A University Championships on Saturday, Nov. 22 at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, N.Y. The Scarlet Knights (195 points) finished behind Pittsburgh (137) in second and New Hampshire (107) in first. |

| BRONX, N.Y. – Senior Cheyenne Ogletree (Garfield, N.J.) put forth an outstanding showing, capturing the 2008 Metropolitan Championship on Friday, Oct. 10, at Van Courtlandt Park in NY. Overall, the Rutgers women's cross country team finished as runners-up in the 6k race with 74 points, just six points behind team winner Columbia (68). |

Rutgers Men’s Cross Country Takes Third at Metropolitan Championships |
| BRONX, N.Y. – The Rutgers men's cross country team collected 86 points to finish third at the 2008 Metropolitan Championships on Friday, Oct. 10 at Van Courtlandt Park in N.Y. The Scarlet Knights had three runners finish in the top 20 (out of 130) in the 8k race.
