PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Rutgers men’s and women’s cross country programs will begin its respective seasons on Saturday, Sept. 12. The Scarlet Knights will compete in the Fordham Fiasco and Follies race in Bronx, N.Y. to open the year.

 

The meet is the first of five races for both teams before the BIG EAST Championships on Saturday, Oct. 31 in Kenosha, Wis.

 

Rutgers will compete at the Iona College Meet of Champions (Bronx, N.Y.) on Saturday, Sept. 19, followed by the women running at the Paul Short Invitational on Friday, Oct. 2. Both squads will then participate in the Metropolitan Championships (Bronx, N.Y.) on Friday, Oct. 9, and then proceed to the Lafayette Invitational (Easton, Pa.) on Saturday, Oct. 17.
