  • PISCATAWAY, N.J. (May 21, 2013) – Rutgers head football coach Kyle Flood will be a guest on ESPN’s College Football Live on May 23. He will be in-studio for the 3:30 p.m. show Thursday afternoon.

Flood made an immediate impact on the Rutgers program as he led the school to its first BIG EAST Championship in 2012. Flood ended the season being named the BIG EAST Coach of the Year.

Flood’s nine regular season victories were the most by any first-year coach in Rutgers history as eight players garnered All-BIG EAST honors. Khaseem Greene became the second player in league history to be named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year for two consecutive seasons.

Greene also became the fourth player in school history to be named to the Walter Camp Football Foundation All-America team, joining former RU standouts Ray Rice, Marco Battaglia and Anthony Davis on the prestigious list.

Following the 2012 season, a school-record seven Scarlet Knights were selected in the 2013 NFL Draft, the most of any school in the BIG EAST or Big Ten. Five additional members of the 2012 RU squad signed NFL free agentcontracts following the NFL Draft.

Season tickets are now available at ScarletKnights.com or by calling the Rutgers Ticket Office at 1-866-445-GORU. Rutgers opens the 2013season Thursday, August 29 at Fresno State. Kickoff is set for 10 p.m. ET.
