PISCATAWAY, N.J. (August 14, 2013) – Rutgers Athletics is set to hand out giveaway items at three different games at High Point Solutions Stadium this season. The first 5,000 children through the gates at the home opener against Norfolk State will receive a pencil pouch, while the first 5,000 fans to the Houston game will be given a stadium approved Rutgers tote bag. The final giveaway will be a Kyle Flood bobblehead, handed to the first 5,000 at the regular season finale versus USF.
Advance tickets for these three games, in addition to the rest of the home schedule, are on sale to the general public.
Season tickets are still available and start at just $280.00 per seat. Fans can purchase tickets by visiting http://tickets.scarletknights.com or by calling 1-866-445-GoRU (4678). Rutgers football season ticket holders will have seating preference over the general public for the 2014 campaign, when the Scarlet Knights begin play in the Big Ten and will host Penn State, Michigan, Wisconsin and Indiana.
New hospitality areas for the 2013 football season are also available. The areas are the Recruiting Terrace, located the heart of the student section in the south end zone, and the Party Deck, which is adjacent to the press box with an elevated sideline view on the stadium’s west side. Both areas are available for one group of 50 people and cost is $125.00 per person, which includes a ticket to the game, and many special amenities.
