Rutgers Football Goes National on XM Satellite Radio
XM to Air Four Games in 2006

PISCATAWAY, NJ – Four Rutgers football games will be broadcast live on XM Satellite Radio this season, including the Scarlet Knights’ home opener vs. Illinois this Saturday. All of the games will use the radio feed from the Rutgers Radio Network, featuring play-by-play voice Chris Carlin and color analyst and former RU tight end Tim Pernetti.In addition to the Illinois game, XM will also carry the USF game on Sept. 29, the Pittsburgh game on Oct. 21 and the West Virginia game on Dec. 2. Additional games could be added to the XM lineup. All four games can be heard on XM channel 200.
