April 27, 2008 Cantwell Named to BIG EAST All-Tournament Team
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Rutgers sophomore attacker Brooke Cantwell (Moorestown, N.J.) was selected to the BIG EAST All-Tournament team, the league announced Sunday. In the Scarlet Knights' semifinal loss to eventual champion Syracuse, Cantwell finished tied for the team-high with two goals. She also recorded a team-high three draw controls.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Rutgers women’s lacrosse team fought valiantly but were unable to mount a comeback, falling to No. 5 Syracuse 22-7 in the semifinals of the BIG EAST Championship, Friday evening at historic Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Ind. Rutgers (7-10) held Syracuse (15-2) scoreless for the first 9:07 of the contest, the longest SU has gone without scoring a goal to start a game this season, breaking its previous mark of 8:03.

April 24, 2008 Three Rutgers Women’s Lacrosse Players Earn Postseason Honors
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Three Rutgers women's lacrosse players were named to the All-Conference teams, it was announced at the league banquet Thursday night. Sophomore attacker Brooke Cantwell (Moorestown, N.J.) was named to the All-BIG EAST First Team, while sophomore defender Jessica Davis (Moorestown, N.J.) and sophomore midfielder Mary Cryan (Newtown Square, Pa.) were named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Rutgers women's lacrosse team will face No. 5 Syracuse in the semifinals of the BIG EAST Championship, on Friday, April 25, at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Ind. Rutgers (7-9, 2-3) is the fourth seed in the Tournament, while SU (13-2, 5-0) is the top seed thanks to its first outright BIG EAST regular-season title.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers women's lacrosse sophomore attacker Brooke Cantwell (Moorestown, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for the second consecutive week and the fourth time this season. Cantwell registered four goals, nine draw controls and four ground balls in two games last week.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Rutgers women's lacrosse team dropped its season finale, falling 20-9 to BIG EAST foe Notre Dame Sunday afternoon at Yurcak Field. RU (7-9, 2-3) will be the fourth seed in the BIG EAST Championship and will take on top seed Syracuse, while Notre Dame (11-5, 4-1), clinched the second seed and will face Georgetown. The BIG EAST Championship first round will take place on Friday, April 25, at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Ind.

April 18, 2008 Women’s Lacrosse Closes Out Season Against No. 8 Notre Dame
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Rutgers women's lacrosse team will close out the 2008 season at Yurcak Field on Sunday, April 20, when it takes on No. 8 Notre Dame at 12:00 p.m. RU (7-8, 2-2) is looking to return to .500 while the Irish (10-5, 3-1) are coming off a 9-6 loss to No. 13 Vanderbilt at home on Wednesday.

April 16, 2008 Rutgers Falls at Home to Temple in Overtime, 10-9
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Rutgers women's lacrosse team closed out its non-conference schedule with a 10-9 overtime loss to Temple, Wednesday night at Yurcak Field. The Scarlet Knights (7-8) had a chance to tie the game in the closing seconds of overtime, but shots from Nina Frankoski (Maplewood, N.J.) and Michelle Poole (Long Valley, N.J.) were off-target, and Temple (10-4) picked up the win.

April 14, 2008 Cantwell Receives Weekly BIG EAST Award
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers sophomore attacker Brooke Cantwell (Moorestown, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the league announced Monday. The award marks the third time this season Cantwell has been named to the Honor Roll, and the fourth time in her career.

April 12, 2008 Rutgers Women’s Lacrosse Falls at Home to No. 5 Syracuse
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Rutgers women's lacrosse team saw its four-game winning streak come to an end with an 18-6 loss to BIG EAST Conference foe Syracuse, Saturday afternoon at Yurcak Field. The Scarlet Knights (7-7, 2-2) moved back to .500, while the Orange (10-3, 4-0) clinched the top seed in the BIG EAST Tournament.
