“We’re very excited to have been selected and privileged to be an at-large selection to the NCAA Tournament,” said head coach Glenn Crooks. “We know West Virginia very well, a former BIG EAST member with us, so we’ve been to Morgantown several times. I’m very close friends with the staff at West Virginia so we’ll enjoy the trip and I really look forward to the preparation.”
The Scarlet Knights (13-4-4, 5-3-1) will take on No. 16 West Virginia in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m.
The Mountaineers enter the NCAA Tournament after winning the Big 12 Championship, defeating Oklahoma State, 1-0 on Sunday, Nov. 10.

RU is 4-11-1 all-time against West Virginia, with its last victory over the Mountaineers coming on Oct. 5, 2008 in the form of a 1-0 win.
