  • PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Dec. 18, 2013) – Former Rutgers women’s soccer All-American Carli Lloyd recently wrote Philly.com  to discuss her experiences as a youth soccer player in New Jersey.

    The letter, titled “Carli Lloyd: Good soccer comes from playing with freedom,” can be found by clicking the link below following the opening of the letter.

    “People often ask me what I did when I was young that helped me become the soccer player I am today. I often think about this question and always come back to the same answer when I think about my younger years and that answer is ‘playing with freedom.’”
