PISCATAWAY, N.J. (August 13, 2014) – Check out the 2014 promotional calendar for the Rutgers women’s soccer team. Scarlet Knight fans can also purchase season tickets for the upcoming inaugural Big Ten campaign.
Season tickets for the Scarlet Knights’ nine-game home slate are $45 and can be purchased by calling the RU ticket office at 1-866-445-GORU. Single-game tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for youth/seniors and $3 for groups of 20 or more.
Throughout the season, fans can drop by the ticket table at the Yurcak Field entrance to enter their names for the end of the year final prize giveaway contest. The more games you attend, the more chances you have to win. Prizes include signed soccer jerseys by alumni, two football tickets and parking to RU’s game with Indiana on Nov. 15, a signed soccer ball by the 2014 team and more.
Fans can pick up a copy of the 2014 Rutgers women’s soccer poster at the Scarlet Knights’ home opener against Stony Brook on Friday, Aug. 22. Former Rutgers women's soccer players are invited to attend Alumni Night on Aug. 29 for RU's match against Seton Hall. Alumni and their guests will gain entry at a reduced rate of $5 per ticket, while alumni will have the option of watching the match from the field.
On Friday, Sept. 19 against Michigan State, the first 500 fans in attendance can take home an inaugural Big Ten game t-shirt. Rutgers students will then have the opportunity to earn points towards football tickets with the Scarlet Lottery when RU hosts Michigan on Sunday, Sept. 21 for the “Student Kickoff.”
The first 300 fans in attendance on Thursday, Oct. 2 against Indiana will receive a Rutgers rubber bracelet.
On Sunday, Oct. 5 the program will once again celebrate “Dads and Daughters Day” for the Scarlet Knights’ match against Purdue. With the purchase of a two-ticket package that day for $15, fans will receive a water bottle and two food vouchers. The Dads and Daughters Day package is not included in season ticket purchases.
Rutgers final weekend of the season includes a pair of exciting promotions, beginning with “Junior Knights Day” on Friday, Oct. 17 when the team faces Illinois. The first 200 youth fans in attendance will receive a Rutgers scarf.
The squad wraps up its 2014 home season on Sunday, Oct. 19 against Northwestern. RU will celebrate “Senior Day” and also reveal the winners of the final prizes that were tallied throughout the season.
