PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Rutgers softball team will host Caldwell and Kutztown this Sunday at the RU Softball Complex. At 10 a.m., the Scarlet Knights will take on Caldwell. Following their game, Caldwell will face Kutztown. At 2 p.m. the Scarlet Knights will play their second game of the day against Kutztown.
Sunday marks the first day of fall ball, as the squad will travel for the next three series. RU visits Temple on Sept. 19 for a doubleheader, followed by two matches at Lehigh on Sept. 20. The Scarlet Knights end their road tour on Sept. 27 at Hofstra for back-to-back games against the Pride.
The season ends “On the Banks” with the highly-touted Alumni Game on Sunday, Oct. 11.
