Rutgers Men’s Track and Field Competes at Colonial Relays, Sam Howell |
| WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The men’s track and field team split its squad on Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4 sending student-athletes to the Colonial Relays in Williamsburg, Va. and the Sam Howell Invitational in Princeton, N.J. The Scarlet Knights competed against 24 teams at the Colonial Relays and placed seventh as a team. |

Bergo Named Mid-Atlantic Field Athlete of the Year by USTFCCCA |
| PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers freshman Adam Bergo was today named the Mid-Atlantic Region Men’s Field Athlete of the Year by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The 2009 BIG EAST Indoor Track and Field Champion in the high jump, he is ranked third in the nation (first among the freshmen) in the event. |

| COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Rutgers freshman Adam Bergo (Plainfield, N.J.) competed at the 2009 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship on the campus of Texas A&M on Saturday, March 14. The reigning NCAA Field Athlete of the Year in the Mid-Atlantic Region, Bergo advanced to the championship in his rookie campaign. |

| COLLEGE STATION, Texas. – The Rutgers men’s track and field team will be represented at the 2009 Indoor Track and Field NCAA Championships by freshman Adam Bergo (Plainfield, N.J.) who will be competing in the high jump. The meet will take place on Friday March 13 and Saturday March 14 at Texas A&M University in College Station. |

| Rutgers freshmen Adam Bergo (Plainfield, N.J.) was the 2009 BIG EAST Indoor Track and Field Champion in the high jump and also earned recognition as the Most Outstanding Field Performer at the meet. He cleared a height of 7’2 ½’’ (2.20 meters) in the high jump achieving an NCAA provisional mark, ranking him third in that nation (first among freshman). |
