PISCATAWAY, N.J. (January 29, 2013) – Rutgers senior Kevin Bostick (Englewood, N.J.) has been named the BIG EAST Men’s Field Performer of the Week it was announced Tuesday by the conference office.
Bostick helped the Rutgers men’s indoor track & field team to a second place finish at the Metropolitan Championships last week by taking first in both the high jump and triple jump. In the high jump, Bostick leaped his way to 2.07m (BIG EAST & IC4A Qualifier) and also took first in the triple jump with a distance 14.76m (BIG EAST & IC4A Qualifier).
Bostick currently holds the conference’s top triple jump mark (15.33m – Rutgers Invite – 1/4/13) and third best high jump height (2.08 – New Year’s Invite – 12/9/13).
