| PISCATAWAY, NJ – Rutgers women’s volleyball
player Sandra Nunner (Muenster, Germany) has been named the BIG EAST Conference
Rookie of the Week, the league office announced today. |

Rutgers Wins Final Two Matches at GW Invitational |
| WASHINGTON, DC – The Rutgers women’s volleyball
team improved its record to 5-2 by defeating Radford and George Washington to
conclude the George Washington Invitational earlier today. RU defeated Radford
(2-5) in four games, 31-29, 30-15, 26-30 and 30-13. Rutgers followed that win
by defeating the host Colonials (5-2) in four games, 30-32, 30-21, 30-26 and
30-25. |

Rutgers Sweeps Morgan State at GW Invitational |
| WASHINGTON, DC – The Rutgers women’s volleyball
team (2-2) swept Morgan State, 3-0 (30-19, 30-15, 30-21), in the first match
of the George Washington Invitational earlier today. Junior Shayla Bush (Spokane,
WA) led the way for RU by posting her second double-double of the season, with
14 kills and 14 digs against the Lady Bears (0-4). |

Rutgers Splits Final Day at Penn State Invitational |
| UNIVERSITY PARK, PA – The Rutgers women’s
volleyball team split two matches today to conclude the Penn State Invitational
with a 1-2 record. Rutgers fell to Akron, 3-1, in a 1:00 p.m. match by a score
of 22-30, 30-26, 27-30 and 27-30. At 4:00 p.m., the Scarlet Knights swept Quinnipiac,
3-0, for their first victory of the season, 30-20, 30-20 and 30-14. |
