PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Feb. 27, 2013) – Rutgers women’s volleyball head coach CJ Werneke and his program were recently listed in an article called “Star Coaches: DI Women’s Volleyball” by Winthrop Intelligence, a college sports data research service.

Werneke was one of 16 coaches listed in the article, which featured coaches who have had major turnarounds in win totals and overall RPI improvements.

Werneke has led the program from two wins in his first season at the helm in 2008 to 18 victories in 2012. In 2012, the Scarlet Knights put together their first winning season since 2004 and compiled their most wins since the 2000, going 18-12.
