PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Rutgers wrestling team hosted a successful golf outing earlier this month as the near 100 participants raised more than $18,000 at the event.

Participants partook in a fun day of golf that was capped off with a lunch reception and prizes. 

This eventful affair gave participants the opportunity to meet head coach Scott Goodale and a number of the wrestling letterwinners who have been a part of the program’s rich history.

The Scarlet Knights open the 2009 season at Sacred Heart at the William H. Pitt Health and Recreation Center on Nov. 7.
