NORTH PLAINFIELD, N.J. - Rutgers men’s basketball visited the Somerset Intermediate School today as part of the Scarlet Letters Pen Pal Program. Through the initiative, which is overseen by Academic Advisor Randi Larson, players correspond with students via letters that promote the value of education, good study habits and a healthy lifestyle.

The program is one of the many community initiatives in which the team participates under the leadership of head coach Mike Rice
