Tennis Continues Fall Campaign at Navy Invitational

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers tennis will compete at the Navy Blue and Gold Invitational from Friday, Oct. 7 through Sunday, Oct. 9 in Annapolis, Maryland. The three-day tournament features both singles and doubles flights, with each day's competition beginning at 9 a.m. ET.
Play will take place on three courts: the indoor Tose Family Tennis Center and the outdoor Fluegel-Moore Tennis Stadium at the Brigade Sports Complex, as well as the Bancroft Hall Eighth Wing Tennis Courts on the grounds of the U.S. Naval Academy.
The 11-team field also features Bucknell, Buffalo, Delaware, Fairleigh Dickinson, George Mason, George Washington, Howard, Seton Hall and Towson.
In their last time out, the Scarlet Knights finished play at the Brown Invitational from Sept. 23-25 in Providence, Rhode Island. In their collegiate debuts, freshmen Katherine Muzik and Jacqueline Cochrane finished with two singles victories each to lead the Scarlet Knights in their fall season opener.
RU continues its fall campaign Oct. 20-24 at the ITA Regional Championships in West Haven, Connecticut.
