Football Set for Big Ten Media Days

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers football officially opens the 2017 campaign at the Big Ten Football Media Days and Kickoff Luncheon, held Monday and Tuesday, July 24 and 25, at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place and Convention Center in Chicago. Second-year head coach Chris Ash will be joined by junior defensive back Blessuan Austin, senior defensive lineman Sebastian Joseph and senior offensive lineman Dorian Miller for the Tuesday media schedule.
BTN and BTN2Go will provide more than 14 hours of live coverage, including televising the press conferences for all 14 Big Ten head football coaches. Ash is scheduled to take the podium on Tuesday, July 25 at 10:15 a.m. ET.
Later that afternoon, Austin, Joseph and Miller will join hosts Dave Revsine, Gerry DiNardo and Howard Griffith on the BTN Live set at 4 p.m. ET. Ash will wrap up his media schedule on BTN Live at 5:30 p.m. ET.

On Wednesday, July 26, BTN will air the Kickoff Luncheon Special at 8 p.m. ET with each head coach discussing the upcoming season. All press conferences can also be streamed via the web, smartphones, tablets and connected devices on BTN2Go, BTN's digital extension.
The Scarlet Knights open play on Friday, Sept. 1 at 8 p.m. against Washington at High Point Solutions Stadium, in a game billed as the "War Before the Shore." In honor of the New Jersey tradition to head to the shore for the final weekend of summer, the first 5,000 fans into the stadium will receive a specially branded "War Before the Shore" beach towel.
