
Rachel Hollivay Wins Championship With Leones de Riobamba

Former Scarlet Knight Captures Ecuador-Liga Femenina League Title
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers women's basketball's all-time leading shot blocker, former Scarlet Knight Center, Rachel Hollivay, won the Ecuador-Liga Femenina League title on Tuesday with her Leones de Riobamba team.
Hollivay, a starter for Ecuador's Leones defeated Lums, 86-65, winning the best of five series to claim the championship title. The Columbus, Mississippi native averaged 12.8 points per game for Leones this season.
Hollivay was drafted with the first pick in the second round by the Atlanta Dream in 2016. Prior to joining Leones de Riobamba, she signed a training camp contract with the New York Liberty this past April.
The 6'4'' center has had a strong overseas career having played for the Buducnost Bemax in Montenegro, earning MVP Honors, and with the Blue Minx in South Korea last winter.

During her senior year at Rutgers, Hollivay averaged 7.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.3 blocks per game.
