Rutgers Tennis Adds Jackeline to 2021-22 Roster

Jackeline Lopez Signing

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Head Coach Hilary Ritchie announced the signing of Jackeline Lopez to the Rutgers Tennis program. The Lawrenceville, Georgia, native is a 2018 UTSA Southern Cup Finalist, U16 National Level 3 Champion and a three-time ITF Grade 5 doubles champion among numerous accolades. She will join the Scarlet Knights in 2021-22.

We are excited to have Jackeline join our team. She stood out to me in the recruiting process with her discipline, hard work and love of competition. Jackie has a strong baseline game with the skills to finish at the net. With her drive, I know she will continue to develop as a player. Family is very important to Jackie and we couldn't be happier to add her to our Rutgers Tennis family.

Everyone from the academic advisors, coaches, and teammates made me feel very welcomed on my visit. I also love how Rutgers is so close to my sisters which makes it feel like a second home. I believe Rutgers has all the values I need to be successful. I am proud to call Rutgers home for the next four years.
