Puckhaber collects fourth multi-goal game of 2018 in loss to Quakers
PHILADELPHIA – Rutgers women's lacrosse (3-2, 0-0) lost to No. 15/12 UPenn (3-0, 0-0), 19-9, Wednesday night at Franklin Field in Philadelphia. Senior captain Kerri Puckhaber and freshman Taralyn Naslonski each produced two goals to pace the Scarlet Knights' offense.
Seniors Paige Paratore and Joanna Reilly, junior Allie Ferrara and sophomore Samantha Budd also contributed goals in the road loss. Goalkeepers Bianca Dente and Devon Kearns both saw time in cage for Rutgers, as Dente contributed five saves and two ground balls.
Caroline Cummings led UPenn with six goals in the win. Four Quakers had multi-goal outings on Wednesday, including five from Gabby Rosenzweig.
Rutgers returns to action on Saturday, March 3, when it hosts Drexel for a 1 p.m. showdown at High Point Solutions Stadium.
