Clarke Advances to 60m Finals On Day One of B1G Indoor Championships

Junior Scarlet Knight Sets New PR With Third Fastest Time in RU History
GENEVA, Ohio – Junior Oniesha Clarke is heading to the 60m finals to highlight day one of the 2018 Big Ten Indoor Championship for the Rutgers women's track and field team.
Clarke placed fifth in Friday's preliminaries with a new PR of 7.43, which is also the third fastest time in Rutgers history.
Other notable results included PR's for Ariel Strunkey in the 60m (7.73) and 200m (24.64), freshman Kayla Jackson in the 400m (57.70m), sophomore Lynnea Davis in the 60m hurdles (8.99) and freshman Jacqueline Simmons in the long jump (5.78m/18' 11.75").
Day two of the Big Ten Indoor Championships gets underway at 11 a.m. for the women. FloTrack will provide live coverage as will BTN Plus via BTN2Go.
BTN will air tape-delayed coverage of the Big Ten Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships at 8:00 p.m. ET on Monday, Feb. 26.
