What is your favorite part about being on this team?
"Having a big family environment where we can all work hard together. We all have such passion to play, so it's nice to be with a group of girls that have the same passion and love for the game."
What is your best softball memory?
"One of my teammates now, Dana Hendry - we've played together through travel ball and high school. We would do really well together and it was probably one of my favorite parts of coming here, knowing I was going to be committing to the same school as one of my closest friends."
What is it like having other players from California on the team?
"It helps out a lot because most of the girls that came with me from California are girls I played with on the same travel ball team. It was nice to have some developed friendships to bring here, as well as relationships on the field and having that chemistry."
Did you transition well to the East Coast?
"Yes, but the West Coast is just really, really different. I love it out here, it's become like a second home to me, but there's nothing like California."
What is your favorite part of campus?
"Probably the dining hall. Me and some of my friends will go there and hangout for hours."
Game day superstitions or rituals?
"Before every inning that I go out and pitch I draw an "A" behind the circle. My parents have always told me 'stay on your A-game.' It gets me focused and ready for a fresh start."
