Varsity R Launches New Letterwinners Membership Program

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Varsity R, Rutgers Athletics' all-sport letterwinners association, has released its new membership and benefits program. The initiative is designed to help establish a foundation of support to carry on the Rutgers legacy as well as align letterwinner experiences with that of their Big Ten peers.
New membership benefits include discounted tickets to all Scarlet Knight home games, discounts to the Rutgers Athletics merchandise store, complimentary Varsity R gifts and free or discounted admission to Varsity R events.
Letterwinners will have a choice between a standard membership ($150 annual donation) and a premium membership ($250 annual donation). Interested former student-athletes are encouraged to register for the Varsity R letterwinners benefits program online here.
Paying Varsity R members will also become members of the R Fund, Rutgers Athletics' annual giving program that provides student-athletes with the support they need to reach their full potential. Benefits of R Fund membership include priority points, membership card and priority ticket/parking options. More information on the R Fund can be found here. Premium Membership ($250 annual donation)
- Discounted tickets to all home sporting events
- Free admission and gift to Varsity R Homecoming Tailgate
- Free admission and gift to Varsity R Spring Event
- Free or discounted rate for letterwinner to sport-specific alumni events
- 10% off discount for Rutgers Athletics merchandise on online store
- 100 Varsity R mailing labels shipped annually
- Two discounted tickets to Hall of Fame reception and dinner
- Ability to purchase Recruiting Terrace Access for home football games
Launched in 2014, the mission of the Varsity R is to provide a network that will enable Varsity letterwinners and coaches from all sports to stay connected to Rutgers Athletics, their specific sport, former teammates and the University.
