Head coach Chris Ash to appear on BTN, ScarletKnights.com to discuss 2018 signing class
PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Dec. 19, 2017) – Rutgers football fans will be able to enjoy a day full of Rutgers football content on Big Ten Network and ScarletKnights.com on Wednesday, Dec. 20 for the first day of the Early Signing Period, presented by Nissan. Fans can also follow the program on Twitter (@RFootball, @RUAthletics), Facebook, Instagram (@rfootball) and Snap Chat (RFootball) for content throughout the day.
At 12:30 p.m. ET, head coach Chris Ash will appear on Big Ten Network to discuss his 2018 Early Signing Day class. Ash will then hold a press conference at 3 p.m. to introduce the student-athletes who signed national letters of intent, which will stream on ScarlektKnights.com.
A special signing day broadcast, hosted by Mike Quick, will be shown at 3:30 p.m. on ScarletKnights.com. Quick will recap the 2018 class and talk signing day with various RU coaches. Quick, a former studio host on MSG and MSG Varsity, has covered high school football in the area for 30 years.
Under the direction of Ash, Rutgers doubled its win total in 2017 and won three Big Ten games to match its high since joining the conference. The Scarlet Knights return 18 of 22 starters in 2018.
