TAMPA, Fla. – The Rutgers women's outdoor track and field team captured three titles at the Bulls Invitational hosted by USF. Junior Oniesha Clarke crossed the finish line in first in the 100m, fifth-year senior Bryanna Grant logged the top finish in the triple jump and senior Oksana Sokolova placed first the long jump to lead the Scarlet Knights.
Altogether, Rutgers collected 12 top ten placements in their trip to the sunshine state.
"I think some people capitalized on the opportunity to compete after some very challenging travel plans," said head coach James Robinson. "Collectively, we need to compete with a higher sense of urgency."
Clarke led the Scarlet Knights on the track with a new personal best of 11.76 for first in the 100m. She reset her previous top time of 11.87 set at last year's ECAC Outdoor Championships.
