Wrestling Announces 2019-20 TV Schedule

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers wrestling will appear in front of a national television audience at least three times during the 2019-20 season, it was announced today by the Big Ten Conference.
During the regular season, the Scarlet Knights will wrestle Penn State (Sunday, Jan. 19) in University Park on ESPNU at 5 p.m. RU will then face Michigan (Saturday, Feb. 1) at Madison Square Garden on Big Ten Network at 1 p.m. as part of conference's annual Super Saturday event.
Session IV of the Big Ten Championships, hosted by Rutgers at the RAC (Sunday, March 8), will also broadcast live via BTN at 3:30 p.m.
All home matches during the 2019-20 season will stream live via BTN Plus/BTN2Go. In addition, FloWrestling will stream Rutgers' road appearances at Fresno State (Nov. 15) in Fresno, California and at the 2020 Southern Scuffle (Jan. 1-2) in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Under the guidance of reigning Dan Gable and NCAA Tournament Coach of the Year Scott Goodale, Rutgers wrestling is coming off an historic 2018-19 campaign which was capped by the program's first individual NCAA titles from Anthony Ashnault and Nick Suriano, as well as its first Top 10 finish at the national tournament.
RU returns four national qualifiers this season, including Matthew Correnti, Joseph Grello, Peter Lipari, and Jordan Pagano. The Scarlet Knights also feature an incoming 2019 freshman class ranked No. 4 in the country by FloWrestling.
