Javelin Unit Begins Weekend for Men’s T/F at Florida Relays

Mirabelli places second in the event to lead the Scarlet Knights
GAINESVILLE, FLA. - The Rutgers men's track and field javelin unit started off the weekend for the Scarlet Knights on day 1 at the Florida Relays.
Graduate student Chris Mirabelli finished second in the event with a throw of 66.54m (218' 4").
Redshirt-junior Greg Harnett followed in fifth with a mark of 63.57m (208' 7"), besting his result from the season opener.
Junior Michael Thomas rounded out the field for RU with a throw of 60.32m (197' 11").
The Scarlet Knights continue their weekend at the Florida Relays on Friday.
