
Hayes & Seymour Selected for NFLPA Collegiate Bowl

Game scheduled for Saturday at Rose Bowl on NFL Network
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Both DB Damon Hayes and OL Kamaal Seymour will represent Rutgers football at the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, which is set for Saturday at Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California. The game will start at 7 p.m. EST on NFL Network.
Hayes will wear No. 22 for the American Team, while Seymour will line up as No. 56 for the National Team.
Hayes played in 47 games with 32 starts in the secondary over the last four seasons for the Scarlet Knights. The Maryland native was first on the team with 840 snaps played as a senior in 2019, also leading the defense with nine passes defended (seven breakups, two interceptions). Overall, Hayes, who saw time at cornerback and strong safety, finished his career with 164 tackles with seven for loss, 2.5 sacks, 25 pass breakups and six interceptions.
Seymour ended his time as a Scarlet Knight starting 41 consecutive games at right tackle, seeing action in 46 collegiate games overall. He earned the David Bender Trophy at the senior banquet as the team's top offensive lineman. In addition, the Brooklyn native is a three time Academic All-Big Ten selection as an informatics and technology major.
