No. 12 Wrestling Finishes Action at Navy Classic

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Six student-athletes from No. 12 Rutgers wrestling competed at the 2021 Navy Classic on Saturday in Annapolis, Maryland. Kyle Epperly (197) and Alex Esposito (HWT) collected two wins apiece in the highly-competitive field that featured wrestlers from American, Bloomsburg, Bucknell, The Citadel, Cleveland State, Edinboro, Kent State, Lock Haven, Michigan State, Navy, Ohio, and VMI.
The Scarlet Knights return to team action they compete in the inaugural Garden State Grapple on Saturday, Nov. 27 at the Prudential Center in Newark. RU faces Hofstra (5:30 p.m.) and No. 13 North Carolina (7 p.m.), while No. 23 Wisconsin will also participate in the neutral-site quad.
