PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers Athletics continues to shine in the classroom with its multiyear Academic Progress Rate (APR) score of 987, announced by the NCAA. The Scarlet Knights' 987 multiyear score is above the NCAA average of 984, marking the fifth consecutive year RU has recorded a multiyear APR above the national average.
Ten of the Scarlet Knights' 22 programs posted multiyear APR scores of 990 or better, with seven programs achieving a multiyear score of 995 or higher. Six Rutgers teams tied program records for multiyear APR with perfect scores – women's cross country (1,000), men's golf (1,000), gymnastics (1,000), women's lacrosse (1,000), tennis (1,000) and volleyball (1,000).
