Annual event gives student-athletes chance to participate in professional development opportunities
PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Scarlet Knights For Life added a special edition Knight of Networking event for winter sport student-athletes in September, following it up with the traditional annual December event for all student-athletes. The events offer one-on-one and group professional development opportunities as student-athletes hone their interviewing and networking skills.
The two events engaged 213 student-athletes with 165 professionals, representing various industries, including finance, public service, healthcare, law, sport management, education, tech, marketing and more.
Student-athletes received a first-hand look at how individuals in their prospective career paths were able to get their start with several Scarlet Knights walking away with job opportunities of their own.
