Soldano Pins Way to Sheridan Tournament Title

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Brian Soldano (184) used three consecutive pins to secure an individual title at the 2024 Sheridan Tournament on Friday afternoon in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Soldano worked a fall in the first period against Griffin Gammell (Virginia) in the championship final to give Rutgers wrestling an individual title winner at the tournament for the second consecutive season.
It marked Soldano's eighth consecutive pin dating back to November 24 at the Black Knight Invitational. Soldono owns 11 falls this season, including two up a weight class at 197 pounds.
