LANCASTER, Pa. – No. 16 Rutgers wrestling wrapped up attached an unattached action at the David H. Lehman '68 F&M Open on Friday in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Mason Gibson (133), Alex Nini (149) and Ryan Ford (165) all placed fifth competing unattached to highlight action during the open tournament.
Gibson finished 5-1 during his first collegiate tournament, advancing to the championship quarterfinals at 133 pounds. After a loss in the quarters to Ethan Berginc (Army), Gibson collected three consecutive wins to finish fifth. Ford and Nini each added four victories.
