PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Rutgers women's rowing team kicks off its fall 2025 season with a scrimmage against Temple on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 10:30 a.m. on the Schuylkill River.

The Scarlet Knights and Owls will be rowing 5 x 1250m intervals with the races finishing at the grandstands upstream of the Columbia Bridge.

Rutgers women's rowing program celebrated its 50th varsity season in 2025 by placing eighth at the NCAA Championships, winning a program-record six medals as runner-up at the Big Ten Championships and winning the Island Challenge Cup at the Henley Royal Regatta. Four Scarlet Knights were named CRCA All-Americans, five earned All-Big Ten honors and two landed Big Ten All-Freshman accolades, including Big Ten Freshman of the Year. Additionally, four members of the squad competed for their home countries at the U23 World Championships.

The fall schedule continues as Rutgers women's rowing hosts Navy on the Raritan River on Saturday, Oct. 25, beginning at 9 a.m.
