PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers volleyball took the second set from Oregon on Thanksgiving Eve at Jersey Mike's Arena, but the Ducks eventually swam to a 3-1 victory.
Oregon opened with a 25-13 victory, but Rutgers came back to even the match with a 25-22 win. The Ducks finished out with 25-15 and 25-21 wins in sets three and four.
Senior Lexi Visintine, who became RU's rally-era season leader in aces, collected her 100th career ace.

- Sophomore Lily Bolen directed the offense with 24 helpers and added eight digs.
- Junior Jenna DeLaMater dug up the ball nine times.
- SET 1 (13-25) | Zora Hardison sent home the overball for a 5-4 Rutgers lead. Despite six early ties and the Scarlet Knights within a point, trailing 10-9, the Ducks embarked on a 9-0 run to take control of the opening frame.
- SET 2 (25-22) | Rutgers rebounded to even the match using an 8-1 run to take control of the frame. With the Ducks ahead 10-6, the Scarlet Knights' burst put RU on top for good behind two kills and two blocks from Aspen Maxwell. Oregon narrowed the gap to two on several occasions, but Rutgers remained in the lead. RU rattled off a trio of points to get to set point thanks to kills from Imani Howell and Maxwell and an ace from Lauren Wilcock. While the Ducks thwarted a trio of attempts by the Scarlet Knights to close out the frame, Maxwell delivered her seventh successful swing of the set for the win. Maxwell committed no errors on her 11 attempts and finished hitting at a .636 while also adding a trio of blocks.
- SET 3 (15-25) | Oregon came out of the break for seven-straight points and an 11-1 lead to lead wire to wire
- SET 4 (21-25) | The Ducks played out to a 16-9 advantage, but Rutgers narrowed the gap with a 5-1 run to prompt an Oregon timeout. During the string of Scarlet Knight points, Lexi Visintine served up back-to-back aces, including her 100th career ace, helping RU to trail 17-14. While Oregon captured the next two points, RU rattled off three straight behind a kill from Maxwell and a pair of Duck miscues to pull within a pair down 19-17. Lily Bolen's setter dump saw the Scarlet Knights trail 20-18 and a Garvey swing had Rutgers within striking distance behind 22-19 before both squads traded points to close out the match. The Scarlet Knights swung a match-best .370 as Natalie Robinson, Howell, Garvey, and Maxwell all put away a trio of kills.Â
