AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Rutgers men's golf squad continues their spring season this weekend at the home of the world-famous Masters Tournament, Augusta, Georgia
Played at Forest Hills Golf Club, the Scarlet Knights embark on yet another journey as they reach the back end of their spring season.
Faced with competing against multiple nationally-ranked programs, the Scarlet Knights look to make a statement this weekend.
"We've seen our freshmen and seniors lead us this year, so we're all looking to be on the same page this weekend," said head coach Rob Shutte. "The game of golf isn't always kind, and with a young team you expect some bumps and bruises, but everyone on this team is so capable. It's all about early execution and being in the right frame of mind for success."
Facing nationally ranked programs and playing in such an important city for the game of golf is the perfect opportunity for the Scarlet Knights to make some noise.
"We've played in some great tournaments, and have had a strong schedule," Shutte said. "This is another strong one, so we're using that to push us in a great way."
"The Haskins" tees off Saturday morning, April 5th, and scores close Sunday afternoon, April 6th.
