National Letter of Intent
About Us | Coaches and Staff | Student-Athletes | Prospects | Boosters | Agents | Student-Athlete Parents
The National Letter of Intent (NLI) is a binding agreement between a prospective student-athlete and an NLI member institution. Per the agreement, a prospective student-athlete agrees to attend the institution full-time for one academic year (two semesters), and the institution agrees to provide athletics financial aid for at least one academic year (two semesters). If a student-athlete, who signed an NLI, chooses to attend another NLI member institution prior to completing one academic year, he or she must serve a year-in-resident at the next institution, and will also lose one season of competition in all sports.
