A Head Coach is presumed to be responsible for the actions of all staff members who report, directly or indirectly, to the head coach. The head coach will be held accountable for violations in the program unless he or she can rebut the presumption of responsibility by (1) promoting an atmosphere of compliance within the program, and (2) monitoring the activities of their staff members.
Coach & Staff Limitations
Each Head Coach must submit a Coach/Staff Declaration Form to the Office of Athletic Compliance listing each individual that has a sport-specific responsibility within their program at the beginning of each year, and whenever changes to the staff occur.
