Mike Mulqueen, a six-time conference coach of the year and five-time NCAA District Coach of the Year, begins his 34th season as the head coach of the Rutgers men's track and field and cross country teams and his 38th season overall at the University. Mulqueen has achieved a number of milestones during his decorated career as the head of the Scarlet Knights, which includes 36 All-Americans, 210 Metropolitan Champions, 48 IC4A Champions and a BIG EAST team title in 2005. Robert Farrell, a 2001 Rutgers graduate, enters his fifth season with the men's track and field team and first as the program's associate head coach, having earned the promotion at the conclusion of the 2016 campaign. The 2015 Mid-Atlantic Region Assistant Coach of the Year is directly in charge of all jumps, throws and multi-event athletes. MORE> |

Lou Tomlinson enters his 16th year as an assistant coach, working primarily with long and short sprint groups. His energetic and enthusiastic coaching style has made an impact on all of the runners during his nearly two-decade long tenure with the program. Tomlinson was recognized for his accomplishments this past season, earning 2016 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) Mid-Atlantic Assistant Coach of the Year honors. During the 2016 campaign, Tomlinson's sprinters produced five school and two Busch Bubble facility records. MORE> |
