Fred Woodruff enters his 25th year at the helm of the Scarlet Knight divers and serves as the head diving coach and co-head coach of the Rutgers swimming and diving program. Jon Maccoll begins his first season as head swimming coach at Rutgers. He comes "To the Banks" after most recently serving as head coach at University of Sioux Falls in South Dakota, where he launched the institution's first women's swimming team in 2016. Katia Alyabyeva joins the Scarlet Knights for her first season as assistant swimming coach in 2018. Alyabyeva was a member of three NCAA Division II national championship teams while at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. There she an 18-time NCAA All-American and three-time national record holder. She also qualified for both the United States and Russia Olympic Trials in 2012, and swam her way to the Russian Olympic Trials finals in 2008.
